HappY AlmosT NeW YeaR!

*Warning*Pics galore in this post... lol
We have been so busy the last two weeks! My brother Ron came out for almost a full week. We had a great visit with him. We had a beautiful Christmas Holiday, we opened gifts at our house in the morning and in the early afternoon we went over to Grammy and Poppys for dinner and hanging out. They had SO much really good food, it was hard to stop eating. LOL. The Gilliams are such a great family. They treated my brother just like he was part of the clan. Poppy Briggs and Ron even took a walk/hike down to the pond.

We took my Ron to Pigeon Forge for a little half day getaway while he was here. The drive there was way to long (4 hours). We did have a great time once we were there though. We went to Wonderworks! It was way fun! Here are some pics!

Happy 23rd Day of December!

It is hard to believe that Christmas Eve is tomorrow.. I hope everyone has all their decorations in place and purchases purchased. I just got some new balls for the tree yesterday.. Adam saw them and asked if I had a work in progress.. lol. I just thought our tree looked boring. It still kinda looks boring. I am going to have to do something different next year.

Fun Facts for our house this week:

  • Aidens ears look great
  • Aiden still failed his left ear hearing test... (wouldn't hold still.. I am hoping that is y)
  • Andrew is getting his two front teeth in!
  • Our washing machine no longer spins. Is it bad that I hope it is dead??!? (dont tell adam I said that)
  • Jade is the biggest helper in the world to me when we are out shopping
  • My brother did make his flight this morning. Didnt look like he was going to make it on, but he did.. lol - Martells should come with a late clause.

I guess that is all I got. Now I have to go clean up the house so our visitor doesn't think I am a lazy girl. I hope everyone has safe travels this year and a very beautiful Christmasy couple days.

Surgery Day!

Pre-Surgery
AideN & HiS CrazY MommA
Little Aiden had his surgery first thing this morning. I was really quite impressed that he could go from midnight to 8 am without any food, and he wasnt even crying he was happy. We were sitting in the little waiting room and his very nice dr. came in. She picked up Aiden and he put his arms right around her neck. She was in love with him. It was sweet. She took off walking around with him, taking him to see some of the other little kids that were in there for tubes. What a really nice dr. she is. I am totally impressed by her. Dang. If only she was a pediatrician.... So anyways. His little procedure went perfectly. She came out and found me in the waiting room, and let me know how it went. She said his ears were a total mess. She gave me some drops and sent me on my way to find him in recovery. While coming out of his little anastesia, he was a total mess. Then he got his bottle and life was all better once again.
Yeah for aiden! A huge Thank You to Adams Mom for coming over and taking care of our quiet little sleeper Andrew. She is amazing and will do anything to help her kids in need! We really appreciate all she does for our family.
She also showered me with cool birthday gifts, and took Aimee and I to lunch. We had a nice lunch at Fatz, and I had the time off from the babies. They each took care of one. . . It was kind of funny to watch them. These boys are high maintainance. So, I got to see what Adam and i look like when we are out with them. Funny Stuff! I am so Thankful to have great in-laws. I love them all. Thanks to you all for being great. Here are some pics of us at lunch.

Where Have I Been?

Looks like I have fallen off the blog train this month. Time sure is flying by at record speed these days. Andrew and Aiden have both spent the last week and a half sick. They have both had two ear infections, colds, bad coughs, tiredness and crankiness.. All of which they have passed on to their Mom. Except for the ear infections, but my ears do kinda hurt.
We finally had our appointment with the ear nose and throat specialist on Friday, and she suggested putting the tubes in aidens ears to get them cleared up. He failed another hearing test, this time in both ears. I am hoping once the tubes are in they can get all the fluid out and we can have happy gremlins again. Sure is much easier when we are all happy. lol. We have our tubes scheduled for first thing Tuesday morning. They are not going to put him under, which makes me feel better. He will have some laughing gas and something else.
These past few weeks that have flewn by have brought many good things with them as well. Here is a small list:
  • Andrew got his first two teeth finally
  • Aiden is crawling so much better and is now able to get to the sitting position from laying down.
  • Aiden is also now able to pull him self half way up to standing
  • Andrew is now almost standing w/o any help.
  • Jade has already passed her reading goal for this 9 weeks.
  • Ian is going to be in his churches holiday play
  • Andrews bad gag reflex has totally eased up, and he is able to eat way more table foods!
  • Adam and Jade hung our Christmas lights!
There are many other good things that have happened, but I cant remember them. So.. on to pics! LOL

These two are really starting to play together now - Totally plotting how to get into things and make messes.
Suprise! Paci Theft is happening again! The boys attacking Jades Homework

And, last but not least, I have to go for now. This little crazy christmas tree destroyer is at it again. He is cuddling with the tree skirt as I type.

So Excited.

This little Andrew is so excited for Christmas he sleeps by the tree... Ok, not really. It was just the getting up in the 5:00 hour this morning that tired him out... lol. The boys have both had horrible colds/something or other. Aiden has double ear infection again. I will be taking him to the ear, nose and throat specialist on Friday. Hopefully they will put in tubes asap. They both have had fevers, coughs and lots of crankiness to go around. :0) Yeah for us!

Aiden Is Crawling!!

Aiden is finally starting to be able to get his arms and legs moving correctly to help him get around! We were so excited last night when he showed us this! As for Andrew, in this video you can see that he wants to make sure he is not being left out. LOL They both LOVE the camera.

the crazies.

This is what they do alllll day long. Andrews favorite ornament of choice is the silver glass balls. Aiden, he will take whatever he can get.
Once tired out from all the tree un-decorating they nap.
