No Time for my blog :(
I guess I no longer have time for my blog. I think about it all the time, just cant get my act together enough to sit down and write anything! I did try to post a video a few days ago and it would never play. Will work on getting that up after this one.
We have been working on finding a house to move to. We are all set to be moved this weekend, and the house fell through (by our choice) and last minute we had to come up with something new. So, we are all packed up and ready to move this weekend! Hooray! Will be a nice home for us to move to temporarily! 4 BD 2 BA homes are hard to find in these parts for some reason. lol.
My job is going well and I am learning more and more each week. These past few weeks I have been doing my normal customer service/accounting etc. And I was also given a new project to work on and that is “Editorial Director” for a book that my boss is writing. We are self-publishing the book and it is a whole new world. Fun stuff though really!
Here is my funny story from today.
So, I was sitting here working ( I work at home FT) and noticed that someone was coming to the door. I took a second look to see who it was and noticed an old man walking to the door and he was delivering flowers with a balloon attached.
My first thought was: “Sweet! Its Valentines day!” Then my next thought was.. “Hmmm…No, its not Valentines Day yet”. Wondering who this beautiful arrangement could possibly be from I answered the door feeling maybe special..
“You must be Lynette” he said.. LoL
Waa waa waaa. Nope totally not for me.
Got my hopes curious though.
Lets see, what else, The boys are growing bigger and bigger every day. They are into everything. Just a week or two ago, they spilled out a whole can green can of pain on the carpet. Then they proceeded to play in it and get it in their hair and such. That was fun. They are good boys and are oh so sweet, just a lot of work.
Jade is doing well in school. Just the other week she was in a speech contest. She had to memorize a 3-7 minute speech and recite it up on stage. She did a really good job. She is a very outgoing young lady. She will start up in-door soccer practice really soon.
Ian is also doing well. He is in Wrestling at school this semester and really seems to like it. Seems to want to do Basketball next. He is an AVID Football fan and loves everything about it. HE watches all the games, and keeps Adam very informed as to what is happening on the TV when he isn’t watching. It is funny Football is his definite love at this point in time! He is very proud of his Colts that are headed to the Super Bowl.
Adam is doing well at work and was recently promoted to supervisor. I am very proud of him and all his accomplishments. He is a wonderful Husband and Father!
I guess that is all for tonight. Here are a few snapshots of us from today.. lol.

Happy 2010!
Hard to believe we are 7 days into 2010 already. I can’t get the date right on my checks for the life of me. Good thing I don’t write very many! I have so many new goals and new things to look forward to this year! I sure hope it is a safe and prosperous wonderful year for all our friends and family!
One of my biggest goals in 2009 was to save money on groceries and build up a food storage. And I have to say… I think I mastered that one pretty good. We live in an area that doubles and triples coupons.. so I picked up couponing as a hobby last year. I really wanted to grow our food/home storage of everything we need in case there is ever an emergency, etc. I think I mastered that as well as became a hoarder (sp?) The grocery stores around here just give stuff away to couponers, its crazy. I have cut our grocery budget from nearing $500 in December 2008 to less than $150 a month. (This doesn’t include eating out though-it does include diapers and wipes etc).
One of the biggest things I learned was that there are lots and lots of rebates out there! One of the biggest ways to get rebates though is from the beer companies.. lol. You DON’T need to buy any beer (in NC and UT). All you do is grab the rebate form, purchase whatever it asks for, send it in and they send you a check. There are rebates buying for gift cards, holiday items (like trees, ornaments lights, etc), summer fun (like umbrellas or beach chairs, etc), groceries, deli chicken.. they have them for all sorts of things you purchase. ITs crazy. I probably have about $70-$100 in rebate checks for whatever stuff coming in each month.
Anyways, enough about that! I am just proud for making my goal and sticking with it!
Make it a great year!
Christmas Morning
We had such a great Christmas this year. We didn’t have anywhere to be, or anything to do, but sit around the house and hang out. It was a great day! We opened presents in the morning and Adam made us a nice delicious Ham dinner that night. We enjoyed sitting there eating it for about 2.5 minutes before the boys decided they were done sitting quietly and not throwing food around. …lol…
So currently, I can’t locate the Christmas day pictures on the computer, and I am really hoping I didn’t delete them off the memory stick. As for the memory stick, it isn’t in the computer nor in the camera. {story of my life} :0)
This year Santa brought our house a WII for Christmas! That was pretty exciting!

The holidays came and went faster than the wind this year, I swear. We had wonderful holidays at our house. It is just such a beautiful season and it is nice to just sit back and enjoy it!
