Spring Fever

Well spring fever has sprung around our house, the warmer weather gives all of us the itching to be outside enjoying the warmer weather. Everything around us is in full bloom. Western NC is known for its beautiful fall colors but i believe spring here is much more vibrant in color. Sunday I took Ian and Jade to the Catawba river to see if we could have any luck catching fish. Ian did have a good bite but was unable to hook the fish other than that there were no fish caught. After we decided to pack up we discovered a much better looking "hole" down the river next to a rocky eddy and some deep water . We are going to try it this coming weekend maybe with some live minnows. I got busy in the yard this week in honor of earth day. I cut down a maple tree , i was afraid it would fall on our gas gusling SUV. I also built a raised garden bed and had a truckload of top soil brought in , so now i am 80 bucks in the hole till it starts producing. Maybe i should have invested my 80 bucks in rice or corn. I will post later when i get plants in it. Trish and I took a walk on the greenway today with the twins. I think it was a shock to them to have such bright light and a pretty good breeze blowing in their faces. We ended up covering them up but they did enjoy being outside while we were just sitting there. Well not much left for the week, Andrew has a check up for his hernia. Hope all goes well there.

Adam/Trish, the boys are beautiful. I'll make sure to show Cecilia the latest pictures. The shots of the Catawba river bring back memories of long summer days fishing, exploring and having fun along its banks.

Better luck next time fishing!

love you all!
