I can't believe it is already May! Wow! This year is sure flying by quicky. In just 5 weeks school will be out for the summer. I remember as a kid the school years seemed to drag on and on, but now as a mother they sure go by quickly. :o) I can tell that Jade is just ready to be done with this 2nd Grade thing. I think sometimes I push her too hard then other times I let her slack to much.. where is the happy medium? I definitly need to work on that!
At the end of each 9 weeks they do a reward party for the kids who make there reading goal. Which is, you take a book home, read it, go back to school and take an open book test on it... Well that is easy enough I figured. Well this week they had the reward party and Jade didnt get invited. So I sent a note to her teacher asking for a print out to see where she was on her points. The teacher sent me a little print out that showed Jade had 11 of 20 points... an F! Whoa, what happened? I know what happened, I stopped reminding her to read her books nightly and I stopped asking her every day when she got home how her test went. This was a great reminder to me that I didnt just have the babies to worry about.. I have lil Jade too! Goodness.. how did I forget?

The little boys are both doing pretty good. Aiden has started to smile alot more lately. I use to worry that maybe he couldnt smile. They warned us that with the brain hemmorage some of his brain was damaged, and I thought maybe that it was the part that held smiles. Aiden has probably passed Andrew in weight finally... we will find out on Monday. We have a nutritionist coming over to check on Andrew. He has had quite a hard time the past few months keeping his milk down, and he is always constipated. I keep telling the doctor that he needed to be on the same formula that jade was on, nutramidgen.. It is for lactose intollerant babies. He keeps telling me no, he needs to be on preemie formula as it has more calories. I dont think the calories matter if he isnt able to keep it down more than 5 minutes... then again I am not a dr. Anyways, I went and got him some of the nutramidgen last night.. He has been doing really good on it today. I really am hoping this solves all of his little problems, or we are going to have to take him back up to the hospital to a specialist and have tests, x-rays and whatever else done again. I really dont want him to have to go through that again though. Keep your fingers crossed! :)

Pretty background! Nice posts, too. Have you asked your doc about glycolax? Ashlyn had to be on it for constipation as a baby. It is a powder you mix with milk in a bottle. We gave it to her once a day -- worked like a charm. Once she got to be 2 1/2 - 3 years old she didn't need it anymore. It might help.
