Swim Team Has Started

Swim team started last week. Coach Adam missed the whole first week of practice because he is still working 7 to 7. He made a deal with his boss to come in on Sat. if he will let him leave early on Tue., Wed. and Thur. so he could attend some of the practices. Thank You to Aunt Aimee for filling in for him and taking Jade. He felt so much more at ease knowing that she was there to coach some of the kids. This year there was 105 children sign up. I think Adam told me when he first coached 5 years ago there was maybe 30 sign ups. (WOW!!) Proud Grammy Carol has 6 grandkids on the team this year! Anyways, the kids seem to be enjoying themselves, and Jade is VERY excited because she now is brave enough to jump off the diving board. :)

On a random side note, that boy standing next to Rahlee and Chloe was born premature at 24 weeks 1 LB, 14 OZ. He was walking by his first birthday. He is 10 years old.
