This Is Our Story: Thanksgiving Trip to Santa Monica

For Thanksgiving this year we decided to take a quick trip to Santa Monica so we could show Ian the area as he had never been in California before. Not to mention we had him flying out of LAX on Saturday so it was a must do.

We ended up driving 2 cars down so we could drop Margs car off to Isabelle to sell.. and the reason I am bringing this up is.. because I am still laughing.. Adam and I were messing around playing leap frog .. trying to be the one in the lead.. and at one point where the 80 meets the 5.. we totally missed our exit.

Not sure why it is so funny looking back.. I'm just weird. #whatev.

We didn't end up landing at Isabelles until 12:15 am. Not bad, I was just happy we were safe and getting in the traffic was not bad at all because it was so late.

Isabelle had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner all planned out.. including Martinelli's cider! and we didn't even need to do anything! (probably shoulda made the pie though ;) .... jk).

When we woke up on Thursday we decided donuts were in order for breakfast so we went to Randy's Donuts in Los Angeles. It really is such a cool land marker .. can see it from anywhere probably!

Breakfast was good.. then it was time to head home and meet with the ads. I wasn't much in the mood to shop on Black Friday. I am not in to crazy busy stores.. no thankyou.
