I’ve Been Gone – But Hopefully Not Forgotten …lol

Ok – Been on a Blog Hiatus this whole year.  No excuses- Just Busy.

 

I need to come in and fill in the gaps of what we have done this year – I’ll do that some other day.. maybe if I remember.

 

As for today, we are gearing up for school to start again.  Jade is starting a new school this year for 5th Grade.  I always wanted my kids to be those kids who go to the same schools all their lives.. I guess I must have not liked that for me.. being a shy personality.  Jade on the other hand is so eager and excited to start a new school and meet a whole slew of new friends.  She is a great kid and has a great personality.  I am very proud of whom she is growing up to become!

Making progress with the boys, I have to say.. kinda.

 

We started them in daycare just a couple days a week, to give them some interaction with other kids and to give me a break.  I was working FT from home and just life got hectic.  The daycare thing didn’t last for more than 2 weeks .. :(  I felt let down – but I know in my heart – that wasn’t the place for them.  We will try again a little bit later.

The boys have been growing like weeds and we have been working to meet some new milestones – some that are over due – …oooops.

1. 1st order of business = Potty Training.  Not going so well.
2. 2nd order of business = Getting rid of Mr. Pacifier ( AKA – PACI) Going better than potty training.  Andrew still has them around– they all just have the tips cut out of them LOL.  I am a mean Mom!
3. 3rd order of business = Set Bedtime Routine.  I gotta have some quiet time to refresh and think straight with out interruptions.

 

I am sure there are others, cant think of them right now. :)

 

Ian is doing well, he is starting 8th Grade this week.  He is on the Football team again and is really looking forward to all the games.  Football is a passion of his that is for sure!  He just got braces put on and hopefully we will see him soon and get a pic and Ill post it!  :)

 

We just enjoyed a great 2 week visit with my sister and her 2 kids here.  They came and stayed withus for 10 days!  It was great to have an extra pair of hands with a lot more energy then me around!  I will get some pics posted from that visit too!
