This year we have all the old on the tree.. mixed with a little bit of some new. And I am going to put forth some effort this year to make some new keepsake ones with the kids that we can bring out in future years.
Before I get started.. I will have you know Frisbee FINALLY found us! Dang he needs to work on his punctuality!
Here are some of my favorites, and the "why's":
This first one Grammy made for Jade in 2008, its her back in 2nd grade. She was just such a cute and happy little girl.
This second one is Ian back in 2008. This was also made by Grammy. Ian was in 5th grade and this pic was taken when we went to Gatlinburg. Such fun memories!
Grammy makes a special effort every single year to give us each a very special ornament. This particular year (2011) must have been the year that we got our little Bandit - because one of our ornaments was a shih'tsu ornament! How Cute!
This next little one is old, and probably should be retired.. but it won't be. This one was hand made by Jade in first or second grade. She created a snowman version of herself and her twin brothers! So sweet.
Another sweet one from Grammy. This was 2007, Andrews first Christmas.
Another from Grammy.. This was 1 year old Aiden (2008).
And this sweet snowman.. back in 1997 Isabelle and I were trying to be all crafty once and we bought a bunch of ceramic ornaments and went to town. This little guy has been with me for 19 years. I usually sneak him on the tree every year.. just because I can!
Last year (2014) when we came to visit Cali for Thanksgiving we took a day trip to San Francisco and this cute little trolly car represents that fun time.
