Today was the elemetery school spelling bee. Jade was one of two people from her class that were able to be in it. She has been so excited the past 2 weeks studying that little packet of words. Little Jadey did SO good! She made it all the way to the 4th round. She got out on the word peninsula. The thing is.. she knew how to spell it correctly, she just started spelling it and she said "p-i" and then caught herself and spelled it correctly. She knew as soon as she restarted that she was out and you could see the look of pure disappointment on her face. I thought she was going to just start crying right there on the stage. It was heartbreaking for us parents. Adam took a video of her while spelling that word. (it is a little shaky from the help of little Andrew)! We are very proud you Jadey!
