Picnic

Last weekend we took the kids over to the beautiful Lake James for a picnic and some fishing. It was such a beautiful day up there, and we had a wonderful time. The kids loved casting the lines in the water, and wanted to keep reeling in their lines so that they could cast them out again. Come to think about it, when I was a kid, I remember doing the same thing. Adam cooked us up some tasty hamburgers and hotdogs while we were there,Adam and Ian enjoyed playing some football and Jade gathered little walnuts like a squirel would. lol After my little post about Aidens ear infection, my friend Angii suggested that I try an all natural remedy of garlic oil and lobelia oil in his ear. I put it in his ear Monday night, Tuesday morning and night, and Wednesday morning and night.. and as of today, he seems to me to be feeling close to 100%. His two little teethys are so cute and growing in fast. We are still waiting for little Andrews first tooth to pop threw. We introduced Aiden to Cherrios this week.. he seems to really enjoy them. As for little Mr. Andrew. He is doing so good. This week he has really picked up on the babbling. He was laying with Adam in bed one night watching the news just "dadadada-ing" away about whatever in the sweetest softest little voice. He was introduced to the gate this week. His most favorite two things in the world are these: 1. Bee-lining it for the bathroom as soon as the door is left open and 2. Bee-lining it to Moms scrapbooking embellishment box. I can't keep him out of those two things. He seems to love the gate.. LOL! Ian doing good also. He seems to really be enjoying playing football. His team is doing awesome. They seem to win most every game that they play. Last week the score was like 42 to 27. They are going to a pre-championship game next weekend, and if they win that one, there is just one more to play to win the huge trophy. Go Bombers!Sweet Little Jadey is doing really well in school, and she is such a great helper with the little boys. She is doing winter swimming with Dad and really seems to be enjoyingit. I hope she will go far with it. What a great way for kids to excersize. She is so looking forward to halloween. She is going to be a wizard.

Awesome pictures. The little boys look great. The football pic of Ian reminds me of Adam and my picture when we were the same age. We're happy Jade seems to be adjusting to NC and the new family. We love you all!
