We are back in action to regular life. Holidays are over - School has started - and we are back on track... Hopefully we will be able to get the babies back on their regular schedule also.
Aiden is
soooo not doing his 8pm bedtime anymore, Andrew will stay up until all hours of the night playing.. and then there is Jade whom at 1 am (most nights during the break) would give me a hard time about turning her
TV off!? What the heck. We
definitely have a night owl family.
I could come up with so many new years resolutions this year that it wasn't even funny. So instead I just stuck to a few little ones. My biggest goal this year is to build up food storage and storage of other stuff that we use such as shampoo/conditioner, soap, laundry soap, toothpaste etc. Over the past few months I have run across some really interesting blogs where the people will go shopping at
CVS with coupons, and hit the sales.. and then after
CVS rewards them with 'bucks' to use towards their next purchases. I was sorta
sceptical at first because I have always been under the impression that
CVS is just expensive. Then I just keep reading about how they do it.. and what they do is just keep rolling the 'bucks' over and over again,
essentially getting tons of free crap. It's kinda fun .. really.. like a treasure hunt..
LOL
** CVS is just like a Walgreen's or Rite Aid. In fact, both those places have awesome deals too. We don't have a Walgreen's here, but there are great links on my side bar to the blogs that tell about the deals there.. :0)
I am going to try and keep a running total of the $$
amount I save this year, just for fun. I may get bored with this 'hobby' as Adam likes to call it. We will see.
Here is my first trip..

I spent only $11 out of pocket for all this cool stuff... and I got 7 'bucks' for the next trip.

Good for you!!! You will be so glad you did this, and so incredibly blessed for it. What is the CVS by the way?
