Trip To Florida

After a busy summer and lots of work (...Adam) we were finally able to squeeze in a nice relaxing vacation to the beach. We left home last Thursday when Adam got off work and we drove down to Ormond Beach, FL. It was about an 8.5 hour drive for us with a couple stops for food and gas.

This is what I watched the whole way down there. Blue Skies. Then {as usual} when we reached Ormond Beach the clouds were out in full force waiting to greet us with pouring rain.Aiden hoped he could just fall asleep and have it over with Andrew had enough of this car ride

The drive really did go smoothly but towards about hour 6 Andrew had had enough. He wanted nothing but to get out of his car seat. I was feeling a little crazy trying to drive and keep him semi-quiet (Adam was sleeping from his long night of work). Andrew got to play with all sorts of things that are usually a no-no, like the camera. Whatever works! He fell asleep after a while and didn't wake back up till we got there.

We got to our hotel, checked in, unloaded the car, got to the room and it was aweful. So we checked out, reloaded the van and went to a different hotel which was so much nicer and the staff was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay there.
