This week our kids and our cows are doing really well. Ian is enjoying Jr. High this year and he seems to really like his teachers. Except for the one who just makes them study.. she doesn't teach anything at all. He is on the Jr. High Football team and spends a great portion of his free time at practice or games. We are
hoping to be able to see him play this Wednesday.
Jade is doing really well in 4
Th grade. Her teacher is awesome and I can tell she really enjoys having Jade in her class. She asked Jade to try out for student counsel. So this weekend Adam helped Jade write her speech. She is really looking forward to doing that, and she also tried out for Chorus. She found out on Friday she made it! She is SO excited about this.
Andrew and
Aiden are just growing up like weeds. They are both starting to talk quite a bit now, and sometimes
Aiden will rattle off a whole little
sentence and we will look at each other and be like.. "Did He Just Say..." and the other will be like yeah, I totally heard that. They are learning the ABC song now and can you say ELMO. The boys Loves Elmo. We need to get them an Elmo only video.
Aiden is not doing so good with his physical therapy. When I take him to the office to drop him off, he makes himself so upset that he keeps throwing up. :( Starting this week, they are going to be coming gout to our house again till he can get to know this girl a little better.
Adam and I are just sitting back lately and realizing that our kids are growing up really fast. Time is just flying by for us lately.
The cows we took over to Grammy and
Poppy's house were welcomed with open arms. I have been teasing Adams Mom a little bit about picking up a pig and a few goats, etc.. just to see what her response would be. I have come to the
conclusion they would except anyone or anything with a happy heart. She said it just makes their Farm a Real Farm. The kids that live there all seem to really like them also. They seem to be happy and healthy and stinky.

Take a look at this piece of crap spider that I walked into my garage and found. This thing was HUGE. If I were crazy enough to measure it, it would probably have been 3 inches long. It does look a little
shriveled in this pic because the fumes from the nail polish remover killed it.
Aiden going down the slide all by himself
{he crashed and burned towards the bottom}

This is the first time Andrew was able to master the slide without his overprotective parents..
{some of you may see Adam hanging out close behind him in this picture.. that is just your imagination}

So while we were at the park we walked over by this HUGE tree and I was
looking at all the little droppings all over the ground and it dawned on me that they were Hickory Nuts. Tons and tons of Hickory Nutsall over the ground just going to go to waste. I decided to grab a baggy from the car and take some home with me. Here they are drying out. How cool is that!? I am pretty excited to add some of these to my wonderful collection of freezer food storage. You never know when you are going to need some walnuts so you can make some delicious chocolate chip & walnut cookies...
