Be Aware Of Your Surrounding!!!

This past week I was sitting up in the living room one night all by myself, scrapbooking. Adam was at work. It was 1:30 AM. Suddenly, I smelled some cigarette smoke and that meant someone was on the other side of that big front window of ours, and they were smoking. Second week in a row this happened to me while home alone. Last week, it was at the back door about midnight. Anyways, I chose to ignore it and continued on doing my thing. About 5 or more minutes later, my cell phone rang. Now, a few months ago I had this number changed and not very many people have it. I answered the phone "Hello?" ..no answer. "HELLO!?" and someone whispers "hey you!". What the Crap?! Scared me out of my mind. Now, I dont think the phone call at 1:48 am and the person on the porch were the same. I think this was purely coincidence. I think the phone call was to get me to realize that hey.. someone is here and I need to do something about it. I immediatly hopped up, turned the light off, turned the outside light on, I put a call into police to see what I should do in this situation. Sometimes I wonder if it is just me being paranoid, or if there really is a problem. Anyways, Saturday, I was talking to my neighbors, and they said that is the night that their dog was going crazy barking, around the same time... and they have had a couple things come up missing. Today in the newspaper, it tells me that on that same night, there were quite a few breakins on a road about 4 miles from our house. Most were cars, one or more were houses. Ok, my mind has been going crazy with the What If's?! What if I would have been sleeping? What if they had come in to our house? Did I stop someone from breaking in? Oh Good Grief! I am so gonna need counseling or something on this. I am completely freightened. I just wanted to send a word out to everyone, to lock up tight, (cars and houses) and definitly be aware of your surroundings.
